K&J Charity Golf Day
A great day out for a great cause.
Despite the torrential rain, this year’s Charity Golf Day at Cherry Lodge Golf Club was a huge success. Note to the organising committee (Dan & Kerri): next year’s K&J merch should be umbrellas!
Our famous Foal Farm tour may have included an impromptu café stop to escape the rain, but there were still plenty of smiles, selfies and soggy boots.
We introduced a new prize this year – Best Selfie – awarded to Mel Wetheridge, with Kam Kataria a very close second.
Congratulations to Golf Winner Ross James
A huge thank you to our wonderful clients, suppliers and friends who came along or donated so generously. Together, you’ve helped us raise over £13,000 in total for Foal Farm – an amazing achievement!
K&J Team
We’ve seen a few changes in the team over the past six months.
Cristina left K&J after eight years to pursue new opportunities, having been an integral part of our project team and a big part of our story. Rachel, who was our Office Manager and later Team Resources Manager, was made redundant following our transition to full remote working – a difficult decision, as she was a wonderful colleague and friend. We’ll miss them both and wish them every success in their next chapters.
We welcomed Tommy, our new Project Assistant, who’s already making a great impression. We hope he has a long and successful career with K&J – though if he leaves us to pursue his dream of becoming a famous rock guitarist, we’ll happily be his personal procurement agents, fixing up the hotels he’s partied in!
September also saw the return of Tracy from maternity leave – where did that time go!
Projects
We were delighted to be appointed on new and exciting project that Louise and Tommy are looking forward to working on – watch this space!
We also welcomed the return of Grosvenor Suite (Lobby & Cigar Lounge), keeping Dan busy, along with OS&E for Club Quarters (model rooms).
Events
Supplier and industry events are a great way for the team to connect with familiar faces, meet new suppliers and strengthen relationships. We love attending, and we’re always grateful for the invitations and the effort that goes into making these gatherings so enjoyable and valuable.

Looking Ahead
As we move through the middle of autumn – one of Kerri’s favourite seasons, along with spring – it feels like the perfect time to pause and consider what’s next.
Autumn invites reflection, but it’s also a reminder that new growth starts by looking at things differently. Spring, on the other hand, is about possibility – fresh ideas, new directions, and energy for what’s ahead. Together, they remind us that growth comes not only from looking back, but from asking what haven’t we explored yet?
Kerri will be taking a well-earned holiday from Friday, 17 October – her first in over a year – travelling back to Australia to spend precious time with family. She promises not to work too much (though the odd email check will definitely sneak in!).
We’re not mentioning the C word just yet – it’s only October, and the UKCA Luncheon hasn’t even happened! But we’ll note that our closure will run from 22 December to 5 January.
Here’s to new perspectives, fresh ideas, and an exciting end to the calendar year.
